What if I don't have one of those?Using an electric skillet or induction type burner,
Got to be cooked at constant 280, so guess you are OOL. There's a similar recipe that my daughter used for the microwave, but i dont have it.What if I don't have one of those?
Velveeta? That just sounds odd to me for fudge. Maybe it’s my disdain for that kind of “cheese”.Rich Velveeta Fudge
3/4 pound Velveeta
1 cup butter
6 squares unsweetened chocolate
2 tbs light corn syrup
2 pounds powdered sugar, sifted
1-1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts
1 tsp vanilla
Heat Velveeta, chocolate, and corn syrup in a sauce pan over
medium heat until melted. Gradually add the sugar, beat with electric
mixer on medium until smooth. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour into greased
pan. Smooth surface. Refrigerate several hours, then cut into squares.
I’ve not tried this recipe but would like to.
It’s just another kind of fat. There are lots of velveeta cheese fudge recipes on the net. I first had it back in the 60’s.,Velveeta? That just sounds odd to me for fudge. Maybe it’s my disdain for that kind of “cheese”.
