Yes, feel better, Sharon!

Geez, I guess I was hungry lol
Busy day!

It was stuffed red and yellow bell peppers. Tina baked them. I could hardly finish one; they were so huge.... Usually I would eat 2 and 1/2 peppers that are fist size, but these peppers were the size of an elephants foot.🐘

I had some
Leftover chicken breasts from the other night, so I tossed them I the air fryer and put them on a salad. A BIG salad. 3 lettuces, spinach, mushrooms, onions, peppers, tomatoes, dried cherries, cashews, croutons, Gorgonzola cheese, balsamic dressing. And topped with a crispy fried quail egg.

“Just a salad”. Turned out to be way too much food. With a hard roll and a glass of Taval rose.

... was perusing the Bean Section when a can of Hormel Chili caught my eye...
Mom's prime ingredient for Chili-Dogs growing up :
Decided on a nostalgia trip ! - As usual, nowhere near what I remembered...

I've taken a few of those nostalgia trips in the past. They never live up to the memory.

Campbells tomato soup with a Kraft Singles grilled cheese (yech)
Fried spam (yech)
Spaghettios (yech)
Kraft mac & Cheese (yech)
Grilled peanut butter and BACON sandwich (yum)
Grilles Swiss and BACON (yum)
There were many others.

I guess the common saving ingredient is bacon.

I bought a pack of 2 Twinkies maybe 10 years ago. Nope, nowhere near the same! The good thing isthat I no longer yearn for them.
