Last night after the play (Funny Girl - excellent!) we went to a new-to-us restaurant. Carrie Nation is billed as a 1920's speakeasy and it actually DOES look sort of like one.
Christine ordered a Sidecar (she loved it) and I ordered a martini with lots of olives. The bartender delivered, LOL!
We both had the braised lamb shank and glazed carrots on a bed of mashed. Delicious and just enough! Service was fantastic!
The weather was crappy, but we had a wonderful weekend!

Another leftover mozzarella chicken breast.
I had a lot of sauce left in the container surrounding it, so I scooped it on.
Found a two-sided container of leftover mash and peas in the freezer, so used those.

Tonight was an egg scramble with leftover lobster, bacon, onions, fresh roma tomato, and asparagus. She simmered the lobster tails shells, reduced it and added it to the egg mixture.
I'll just have a sandwich or something tonight, since I'm working the full night shift.

My mother-in-law used to make cheese filled hotdog for the family. Nancy made these tonight using Nathan’s 1/4 pound hotdogs and 10 year old Tillamook white cheddar. There was leftover slit pea soup on the side but it was more like a stew.

Yes, air fryer. They are slit and fried, then cheese added and finished off. We used to do them in a normal oven.
