What's On The Plates Sunday December 8 - Saturday 14 2024

Last night's dinner was pot roast, buttered egg noodles, spinach, and pan au jus. (Half for dinner, and half for breakfast. Yum)

Heyyyyy, LT, I had just pulled out a couple of packages of country style ribs to thaw for the weekend! Great minds!

Kathy, the lamb burgers look spectacular! I have a package of ground lamb in the freezer to make moussaka, but I'm re-thinking that now!

Got the same amount for Brunch tomorrow... hope they reheat well...
They look fantastic, LT. I suggest reheat the ribs in microwave on half power (1 1/2 - 2 minutes at a time) till they are to the warmth you like. I've reheated on high for too long, and they get hard and greasy. DD has an air fryer, but I don't use it. If that has a low reheat setting, maybe use that. If you use air fryer, please let me know how and if they were good reheated.
 
I spent years getting it right. Depending on it's intention, I use AP or bread flour, and treat it differently for sheet pan, traditional, Sicilian, or even pita and flat bread. Make my own sauce, too. And fresh shredded cheese makes all the difference.

Okay, well when you have the chance, would you please post the full recipe in the appropriate forum? Thanks, Rob - it really looked delicious!
