Lot of that going around!

I was going to use Steak-umms, but could only find these.
I think it'll work.

I’m back in the PNW, have been since Wednesday. Today is grandson’s 5th birthday party……25 kids…🫣
Not sure what dinner will be. I’ve been going out a lot since Wednesday. Yesterday I met a dear friend I hadn’t seen for 12 years. We went to Wally’s Chowder House….my favorite seafood place. I’m a happy girl now ☺️

Would those sizzlers be good as a burger?

Lee
Lee, the middle of them is actually a very thin pounded burger patty, while the outside is a thin layer of ribeye.
I'm going to use them for that with the ones I put back in the freezer.
I sliced the three I used into strips - before pan frying them.

Geez, they sound delicious!

I wasn't very hungry tonight so just had a BLT.

Well, first cook of the day: Dog food! Yup, dog food.

Meet Valentina - born on Valentine's Day. I call her my inheritance. LOL. When Jon's mom passed away on us two years ago this Christmas, I became a single parent of a 16 year old and inherited this little thing. Must admit, she's grown on me. Anyway, she has allergies that I find are well controlled with homemade food. So I make a batch every 6 weeks or so. She loves it, and I get some great broth out of the deal!! Win, win! Just chicken thighs, peas and carrots. I spice it up after I make the dog food.
