Maybe "Salad" Tuesdays...
I may make a shrimp and crab salad today.
Years ago, my Aunt and Uncle from Texas came to visit us. One night, we took them out for dinner. While taking our order, the waitress asked my Uncle if he would like the soup or salad with his meal. Uncle heard, "super salad" and replied, yes, that sounds great.
I made a langostino lobster salad with surimi added instead of shrimp.
I'll serve it over a bed of butter lettuce.
8 oz of it was almost $14
It's chilling in the fridge.

My friend Diana put the idea in my head, she paid $9 for the lobster at Walmart.
Naturally, our Walmart didn't have it, but Chief supermarket did.
Paid more, but oh well lol

When I read @Sass Muffin's post, I considered making a curried seafood salad too. Then, today turned into a batch cooking for the doggies day and our meal will be Turkish Kebab-Style Chicken & Lemon Dill Pita with Spinach Salad. It is a kit meal but made without the kit. I'll likely add some chopped beets and red onion to the salad, just 'cuz I have them.

Yesterday Nancy went to a cafe in Lakewood with Ann. She brought me two meals one of which was this meat lovers omelet with shredded hash browns and a cat head biscuit which I heated up in the microwave last night. The shredded potato’s were difficult to get apart and needed a sharp knife to separate. The meat in the omelet was ground together and tasteless. Nancy said the potatoes were better freshly served. I ate the biscuit with butter and maple syrup which was quite good. The second dish she got me was biscuits and gravy which I will have sometime today.
No cooking here for the next 3 days.

Congratulations!31 years ago, DH and I said, "I do." For dinner tonight, I'm thinking open-faced steak sand and salad. We had a big lunch of tacos at a new place (they were good!) That's as far as I've gotten...
