🌹 Still trying to get it right.
I like oregano on my steak and burgers.
I had the 3 wings and scooped the squash out to reheat with butter.
Dan, those look similar to the ones we used to get at a place in St. Ignace when my sons were kids.
Steve and I used to stop at several places in Cornwall in England also.
St. Ives used to have two little shops that sold both meat and vegetarian.
DH asked what I planned for dinner and quickly volunteered that enchiladas would be great. He said, cheese is fine. I looked for enchilada sauce in the freezer and found none, but scored a package of l/o chicken enchiladas. DH just smiled. So, chicken enchiladas, beans and rice...all from the freezer. I made a fresh batch of Pico de Gallo. Just have to heat up the oven and we'll be set!

There are a lot of Pasty shops in St. Ignace, Upper Pennisula of Michigan.
I'll be on the behavioral unit tomorrow night with my favourite STNA, Brooke.
I've already told her not to pack a lunch.

Don't know what possessed me, but I bought an individual pepperoni pizza, Celeste brand (I haven't had a real pizza in at least 6 months; if I buy frozen, it's always Di Giorno).
Anyway, when I opened the box, I didn't have much hope. I doctored it up with shredded Italian cheese blend, thin-sliced pepperoni, EVOO, Italian seasoning.
I'm shocked and somewhat embarrassed to say that I really enjoyed it, LOL!

Nancy was gone all day. I pan fried chicken/apple brats and had some cold German potato salade. Dessert is orange and hazelnut biscotti.

Do they still have the silver crisping circle? I used to like those.
It might have been part of the box I tossed. I put the pzza directly on the toaster oven rack.

Oooo, great idea Lucky! I haven't make gumbo in ages! Will definitely do so this winter - thanks for the inspiration!

Nancy made a Thai red curry and added more curry powder than recipe called for. I added chipotle powder to mine after the photo. It was excellent and would like it with prawns next time.
I made the best grilled cheese I've ever had to go with my cream of tomato soup! Used some leftover shredded Mexican blend, and I grated some cheddar and some Gruyere. Added a bit of mayo just to bind the cheeses, a little Coleman's dry mustard and some sweet paprika. Spread on Dave's white. Wow!
Also, that Pacifico boxed soup is fantastic!

That hash with tomatoes looks sooooo goooooodBrunch yesterday. Poached eggs, corned beef hash, tomatoes, and toast. Rosehip and hibiscus tea with honey.
Had a late dinner of 3 Trader Joe's small triangle spinach pies.
