I've been out of town the past 4 days. In the midst of the Washington State flooding. I got home last night.
Tonight it is smoked German sausages with stir fried cabbage, onion and fresh garlicView attachment 79765

Sharon, the cabbage in your dishes always looks so much better than mine! Do you just cube it and saute it with the onions, adding a little broth? Covered? I like it tender, not crunchy, but not mush. Need details, please!

Medium high heat, nonstick skillet with sides, 3/4 part olive oil, 1/4 part butter. Melt until butter sizzles. Chop green cabbage to desired bite size. Place cabbage in pan. Spread out and let it cook. Add in onion and fresh minced garlic. Salt and pepper to taste. Stir. Add chicken broth to loosen the fond on the bottom. Cover. Stir ever couple minutes. Uncover. Stir and add more broth if needed. Done!

Brunch was pizza left from yesterday. Tonight was fried cabbage and bowtie pasta.
Now it's time for dessert...., A slice of the lemon pie from a couple days ago. Watery but tasty.
It's weird how lemon pie, especially, gets watery the second day after making. Tina used My T Fine lemon filling.
