What's Cookin' Sun. 10/21 thru Sat. 10/27?

thanx, jimmy! u make me laugh.
those crab crackers rock- kinda have an old bay spice to them. jus' saw 'em last time i got groceries. they were on a table w/ stacks of cans of seafood soups/chowders (between the fresh seafood case & the lobster tank rather than on an aisle.)

lollie, i get those noodles too, 'cept they're the ones in the plastic wrapper.

Ha Ha Ha ...... Thanks luvs. I will have Tina search them down. She's going shopping in PA Wednesday...and there are a lot of different markets to choose from.
I love Old Bay!

DIL made Seafood Bisque and I noticed a great taste. She told me it was Old Bay.

Ha Ha Ha ...I love it on my cob corn; with lots of black pepper too.

Sure wish I could find those little crabby crackers around here Aubrey.

Yup, the noodles.. most of them come in either a little square plastic wrapper or a bowl.
See... if I got the ones in the bowl (nuke!), I wouldn't have to wash a pan.. just a spoon and a fork.. oh and a knife.. used that for the cream cheese and the orange.:yum:

old bay (or frank's) & cob corn is a fave, here, too, jimmy. if u get ur crackers, let us know!

lollie, if u look 'bout (maybe request they order 'em), u could get them. i get ur logic w/ the noodles- why wash an extra dish~

I'll let ya know. I got Tina all prepped with a picture of the cracker box.

There are Giant stores but not Giant Eagle... I see the product is a Maryland thing.
Some Walmarts have them, and the only Wallmart that has them in stock is the Tamaqua, PA Store. That's like 15 mi. south of Hazleton. Way too far south from where she will be shopping and galavanting.

If not ...18.00 from Amazon + 4.50 shipping for 6 boxes.

Last night's dinner - Pan seared salmon with lemon pepper, Sour cream/cucumber/red onion/lemon juice/dill sauce, steamed squash and snow peas with Mrs. Dash:

That looks mighty appetizing... Umm! I am not a salmon lover, but that way all seared like that...I will eat it.

DD and DW always just bake it in the oven. I like it (or any fish) always pan fried.

gorgeous dinner, cooksie.

i'm baking a stouffer's macaroni & cheese/broccoli tonite. breakfast was a cookie, those 'lil crackers, & pop, as was lunch. i'm hooked on those cheez-it's....... 3 14-pk. boxes this month.

Oh Cooksie  My mouth is watering over that salmon!!!!!!

I'm gonna have to look for those crackers luvs.

I've got some Italian bread rising. I'll be making a chuck roast in the pressure cooker. Probably mashed potatoes, gravy and peas for the sides.

Supper Yesterday...

Tina put together mini rigatoni with fresh sliced mozzarella.; sauce and meatballs, and baked it. '

I had DD's baked almond and anisette biscotti. Perfect Coffee Dunkers, and in my favorite "Hot Dog Johnny's" Cup from Buttzville, NJ

Half of tonight's dinner was in the freezer; pulled pork and a container of pork gravy. Just thawed it out, made some smashed tater and steamed some fresh carrots & broccoli. Since there wasn't a lot of gravy, I just put the meat & gravy on a pile of smashed taters with butter & sour cream. I even have enough for lunch tomorrow.

Looks Good Joe! ... Again; ....you did wonders with that pork.

Yum Joe!

I made a chuck roast in the pressure cooker, mashed potatoes, gravy and peas. I made some Italian bread this afternoon to go with it. DH didn't have a good day at work today so he was in need of some comfort food.

Wow!... what a ideal meal. The bread takes a gold medal. Yum!

Oh mercy! I can almost taste that. :)

I had chicken and noodles and brussels sprouts- ate at work.

Tonight I'll do the same, tho can't recall what's on the menu.

Thanks for the comments on the salmon. I appreciate it!!

I had a warm Asian chicken salad last night--yum. Not sure about tonight.

Lunch looks nice and thick.

Good ole Stouffers .... At least it has a creamy sauce; not like those powdered cheese boxes in the bag.

Just turned on the oven... Tina just crossed the Delaware into Jersey with my Pizza and Krispy Kremes doughnuts.
Pizza from Gingirellis in Old Forge PA. She'll just pop it in the oven to finish baking it. She had the pizza maker par cook it only.

I can't wait!! ...

jimmy, have a great dinner- i know how u luv those krispy kremes. definately yummy. glazed is 1 of the best imo.

yeah, that yogurt is thick. only got half the container in, was so rich.
gotta luv stouffer's- as close to homemade as frozen meals get. much better than blue-box, tho i'll make boxed very, very infrequently & w/ addt.'l ingredients.

i see ur dinner has arrived! ummmm!
