We need the snow in mountains and to fill up the reservoirs. We have this coming in, a huge atmospheric river of Biblical proportions…. This means snow in the mountains so ski area will be happy.

Agreed and yet, we went to Costco today and the swales are very full already. The fields have little lakes. I'm thankful that we live on a hill at about 500 ft Above seal level! We need the snow in mountains and to fill up the reservoirs.
I’m at about 500’ as well. I’m not worried about the Puyallup River going over the dikes. My son I always worry about because of Mt Rainier melting down.Agreed and yet, we went to Costco today and the swales are very full already. The fields have little lakes. Th rain continues and so far, the Puyallup River is contained by the dike. My son Peter is pretty far away from the river and not worried. I do the worries for him.
Me too.John and Ginny, the rain and floods in the PNW are the top stories in Boston this morning. Twenty inches of rain!! Hope you folks and your families are okay!

We live on a little hill, no issues at the house. The roads are mostly fine, in my area. I'm in SW WA. The swales along the roads below us can get full. Mostly due to clogged drains. This is the PNW and we do get a lot of rain every year. Now, north of us, they are getting dumped on, for sure!John and Ginny, the rain and floods in the PNW are the top stories in Boston this morning. Twenty inches of rain!!
