Not quite sure what dinner will be. Pasta or steak most likely.

I'm going to make salads with a romaine mix, some of the leftover roast beef - sliced thin, and dried figs. Not sure what else.
I'm looking at recipes.
 
Decided to make the salad for lunch.
This was really good.
The figs added just the right touch of sweet to balance out the flavours.
I was going to add cucumber and tomato too, but it didn't need anything else.
Dinner will probably be more of the same as last night.
That was a big roast.

Day trippin' today.... that Pepper looks like it's not gonna make it to table.... tomorrow is one-day-too-many, I fear, for the sausage....:sad:
 
So far...hahahaha...nothing seems to show any energetic cooking / eating here so far. So, I will add to the ho hum >??? what to have for dinner Syndrome.

We did have fresh bagels that DD picked us up. But that's it.
No Energy. Spaghetti is O U T ..... Hot dogs are out too.

I could go for Sloppy Joes ( Wimpy's ) We shall see. <*> <*>
 
DD just threw 2 frozen Pizzas in the toaster oven. She doctored them up, and added pepperoni topping. I forced a slice down. Enough!

That was just an appetizer. .... Maybe eggs and biscuits for supper ? ? ?
 
Strangely enough, my car took me to KFC for popcorn chicken and coleslaw.

Really though, I went out to get a few items at Chief supermarket.
DIL wants to take some lefties from last night to work tonight, I texted her and said I'm right here, you want anything?
I've had enough beef last week anyway.

I had two stacks of wheats. Whole wheat mix, with whipped butter, and milk as a chaser.
Now I've got a belly ache!

Went food shopping this morning.

Brunch was rotisserie chicken, brie, blue cheese, stoned wheat thins, mini melba toast and blueberry preserves.

Had 1/4 of the Italian sub that was from the other day.
2 ears of corn from South Jersey.


Tina had a Shackshuka. I chopped the pnions and tomato to help her, and she seasoned it and cooked it.
 
Betty Crocker has a recipe for slow cooker rotisserie-style chicken.
That, a rice dish and a veg for tonight's dinner.
 
SNACK- I dehydrated Plums and apricot off my tree's. I gave a neighbor a bag of
apricots, she made jam, and brought us a nice jar full. YUM.
Hopefully we will eat steak tonight!
 
A forced feeding supper today.
I had three shrimp with garlic wine sauce that DD made. A tbs. of rice in the steam fresh bag. Tasteless and Not seasoned.

So....hulking and dragging my hunger into the fridge, I dragged out some macaroni and sauce from the other day, and I heated it in the micro wave. I ate like a cup of pasta.
The rest, I chucked in the garbage.
 
We had rigatoni pasta with tomato sauce topped with fresh grated cheese last night.

We are getting subs from the Wawa mini mart. I am having a small meatball parm tonight.
