What have you eaten Sunday, 3/15/2020 to Saturday, 3/21/2020?

🌹 Still trying to get it right.
Not sure what we will be eating. I haven't gone shopping for 2 weeks.
For several reasons:
1 - My nose is red, raw and painful from blowing it. It looks terrible. I've seen people getting yelled at because others think they are sick. And I still have chest congestion and a cough.
2 - I have a compromised immune system.
3 - People are fighting in the stores. There are cops at the stores.
4 - There isn't much on the shelves. What comes in isn't even being put on shelves. The boxes are opened and left in the aisles. In minutes everything is gone.

It's really scary out there.

My hub and both DD's work at food stores and they can't even get much.

DD ordered Chinese. Hub and I split a pork egg fu young and pork fried rice combo plate.

Well, it's not your Granny's Sunday Spread.............. But it sufficed !

Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwiches, Air Fries, Butternut Mash ........

Beef bourguignon pot pie. I'd add some chunks of carrots next time, but it came out pretty darn good.

Curiosity getting the best of me, I purchased Pioneer Woman's southwest style chicken breasts.
I'll do sides of rice and a cold vegs salad.

Meh, it was good, I have to say that.
Tender and juicy even, but her meals have to be heated in the microwave.
I wrapped the chicken in foil and heated at 325/oven.
Made cuke, onion and radish salad too in mayo dressing.

Crab ravioli made with what was leftover the last time we had stone crab claws with a red bell pepper sauce. Garden salad before.

The key players for dinner tonight.
Just not sure if the ground Italian sausage will become meatballs or just browned and added to the sauce.

I got the Newman's because it was just about the only jar left on the top shelf.
I do like it though.
Might switch gears here and do the pasta tomorrow night.
I ate a late lunch and I've been craving food from Ninja.

Roasted bone-in split chicken breast (a 1/4 of the breast), steamed California blend vegetables, mashed potatoes and pan gravy.

I think I'm going to put off making the pasta dinner until this weekend.
I've got chops, steak and ham.
I'll do one of those with sides yet to be decided.
Simple tonight, methinks.

Green chile chicken enchiladas, queso fresco as part of filling and topping, with cumin rice.

That sounds delicious, med!

I love cumin. Do you just make regular rice and sprinkle cumin in the water before cooking or sprinkle on after cooking?

Lee

Tina mommy made a shepherds pie.
Soup from yesterday, and breaded veal cutlets. I'm guessing mashed potatoes.

Bob Evan's in-store bought boneless ham steak, butter beans, asparagus (before it turned to wood in the crisper lol) and buttered Hawaiian bread.
Nice comfort supper.
