What are you listening to or watching at the moment?

More fireworks....I really don't mind though because I remember how much fun I had as a kid with fireworks. He minds though:

About to don the iPod headphones and pedal the stationery bike off into nowhere. Listening to my eclectic collection of tunes while I do so.
 
four hours of a bo diddley-llike "hand-jive" tune. :shock:

it's the background music of a cool new video game we got at bj's yesterday, "shimano extreme fishing".

i just got eaten by a shark while spearfishing. :sad:
 
My girl playing Donkey Kong 64 and I Will Survive on the radio. I see Keanu dancing in my head!! LOL
 
I woke up two days ago with the thought of the Beatles and the God/Jesus comment in my head. Where did that come from???

I had heard of it, but never investigated. So I’ve spent the last couple days investigating and reading about the Beatles. They were before my time……but reading about them and seeing all they did…..they were ahead of everyone’s time.

I appreciate Lennon’s mentality, but he seemed an ass. :lol:

My fav is McCartney, followed by Harrison. It seems Harrison and Ringo never got much of the spot light.

Sure, I’ve heard Beatles songs all my life, but never gave them much thought at all till now. Odd that I’m just now “discovering” the Beatles. :yum:

Me too! I've been listening to them for the last two weeks almost exclusively, ( with a little DMB thrown in from time to time of course :) My dad listened to them constantly growing up but I never really "got it" until now. Great stuff!

I even had one of those haircuts!

I had all of their albums on vinyl. (Do you guys remember vinyl?) Later, I bought them all on CD. i transferred them to my iPod from the beginning - didn't have to wait for them on iTUnes.

I'm sorry, SS! :flowers: It amazes me that they accomplished all of this in their 20's in a span of about 7 years!!!

Oh heck yeah! I had a vinyl collection, but lost it over the years. Used to love playing those old rock LPs backwards! :lol:

Was even a DJ for a bit where I bought and played new 45s (remember those little vinyl jewels) and XLPs (12" vinyl singles) day and night. Good times. Not many today even know what a B-Side is anymore, and there was some AWESOME music on those B-Sides!!! :clap:

It's just that I've never been much of a follower, and when the world said the Beatles were IT, I said "eehh".

NOW......I'm seeing what they meant. :lol:
