Real Kansas City BBQ.
Since I worked last night into this morning, I went straight to bed without breakfast.
I made this.
Sliced chicken sausages, fried cabbage/onions and sweet potato hash browns.

3 big chicken drumettes. I only like the flats, so I set them aside
Well, I made ATK's Pork Loin with 40 Cloves of Garlic. Never again.
I just used 2 heads of garlic, but really didn't care for the sauce at all - I scraped it off of my serving and tossed the rest of it. Also, I am not a fan of fennel seed in the pork seasoning.
But the meat was roasted perfectly in a 300 degree oven to internal temp of 130, then rested for 20 minutes. Wonderfully moist and tender - I will always roast it this way!
I have the recipe copied if anyone wants it.

Last night in KC. The salmon with arugula salad (fava beans, almonds, dried cranberries) with a mustard sauce/dressing was very good. Sorry, it was half eaten before I thought to take a pic.

This will be my lunch.
I had to use the naan before it reached the expiration date , so I spread on some olive tapenade hummus, romaine, tomato, onion and vinaigrette.

I've been terribly busy- VA has been working on implants
on my bottom jaw. I also just had another Cat Scan- I'm
13 years Cancer Free. Breathing is still my big problem, but
I pretty much got use to it. California has me om IHSS. In Home
Support Services. My Combination, Nurse/House keeper, Renting
a room from me. Her & Her Boy Friend are God Sends to me.
I hardly do any cooking, when I do it's usually "Dumb Meals" as
Ricksmom calls them. I do still make my Chili, and stock my freezer.
I have a small garden. I picked my 1st two ripe tomato's today.
