What are you eating Sunday, 5/18/2025 to Saturday, 5/24/2025?

Some snacks for the evening: Karelian pasties with sausage and pickled cucumber, "viili" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viili ) with strawberry jam and a cup of coffee.

After the sinfonietta we are going here for dinner.

Oh, man, I'd be in heaven! Since I make many of the things on the menu, I'd go with two things I've never had: the pan-fried cheese and the lamb gyros dinner. I rarely eat dessert, but if forced, I'd probably try the lemon phyllo dough thing that's wrapped around custard.

Have fun, John! Hope you get to take pictures!

Ha! I had fish and chips. Ann did have the pan fried cheese and ate every bit of it. Andy had the lamb gyros plate and couldn't eat half. Nancy had a cup of lemon soup and a half Greek salad and couldn’t eat it all. We did have hummus appetizer. It was all good.

DH asked what's for dinner, after I went thru the list, he said, "oh, winner, winner, chicken dinner!" We're having oven roasted apricot chicken breasts, oven roasted mixed vegetables (carrots, yams, onions), mashed taters, gravy and cranberry chutney. Whew! Tired just writing it all down!
Good meal. DH was appreciative. He's been ailing and it hit the spot.
