since it always tastes better next day, yesterday I made chili for tonight . . .
goof-off day, all day . . .

We went to H-Mart to get a few things and decided to go to Yen Ching. They were not seating people, just takeaway, so decided to try a Japanese place and it was excellent. I loved the tempera prawns, Nancy didn’t. Sushi was good, too. The big thing is called a Seattle Roll. I had the Domburo Bowl which had tempura fried broccoli, red pepper, squash, and prawns on a bowl of rice…. No keto today.

Today was opening day at Storino’s, our favorite local produce grower. I got a bag of Brussels sprouts for tonight and will also grill chicken thighs.

It was.

We had a gift card to use up at Texas Roadhouse so we went there. I had smothered chicken breast with loaded mashed potatoes. Tater skins and snake bites for appys. Fresh buns with cinnamon butter too. Oink oink.

Lenten Friday. Something that I haven't had in AGES and have been craving: grilled double cheddar cheese and heirloom tomato on sourdough.
