Man, that looks incredible, Jimmy! The chicken soup was great. Tina and DD even tried some, and gave it a "B" at least. I used a handfull of corn, so they don't like corn in their soup.

Thanks lee..... I don't mean to do that, but when the dear wife ( who is an excellent cook ), makes soup or stews, she puts the carrots and celery in the pot whole, and the onion not peeled, and whole.Man, that looks incredible, Jimmy!

I LOVED Harold's corned beef and egg creams! And I LOVED the FULL sour pickles! I started going to the one in Parsippany. Then they opened one in Lyndhurst (wasn't as good). Now both are closed now. Thanks lee..... The only thing she and the kids will eat from the soup, would be the carrots and that's it.
I love celery, and carrots, but I hate to chop my soup in the bowl. I don't like the celery 'floppy', and winding up on my upper lip below my nose like a mustache, and dripping on my chin.
I guess I'm just a weird soup sipper. By the way, That hot pastrami you had made, has me drooling over here.
There was a place called 'Harold's' 45 min. from here. It made pastrami sandwiches they called Haroldiculous! The pastrami was a Quad decker, and piled High with the meat. They served it with 4 or 5 thick slices of slices of rye bread, and 4 empty plates for all to share the one sandwich.
Shamefully, I ate almost a 1/2 of the beast of a sandwich. SOooo ! GOooood. No More..... They Closed!
Yep... Parsippany is the same one we went to. It was a Holiday Inn where it was located.I LOVED Harold's corned beef and egg creams! And I LOVED the FULL sour pickles! I started going to the one in Parsippany. Then they opened one in Lyndhurst (wasn't as good). Now both are closed now.
I think the one in Edison is still open. The prices have really gone up.
This was dead simple and delicious.
Did a saute in olive oil with the shrimp and peas, drizzled with some of that lovely Chick-fil-A Polynesian sauce, served over some of the leftover cinnamon spiced rice.
What a pleasing surprise of flavours here.

Your soup looks fantastic.
Looks good to me.This isn't the most attractive plate of food, but it tastes delicious.
And you guessed it, a lot left which I'll have tomorrow, then again for a sandwich or two, and I'm soon to be taking a plate over to Pat.

I had the Portuguese Seafood Stew at BarBistro with French fries as an appy. It was excellent!
