What are you eating Sunday 11/5/2023 to Saturday 11/11/2023?

Oops, I already started a new thread, Peeps.
Can't delete it lol
Maybe a mod can.
Since I'm working tonight, I'll eat early.
A Gordon Ramsay chicken pot pie.
I think you got it in first. I already reported mine. We used to be able to delete threads for a short time. I guess that option isn't turned on anymore.

Tina pulled a ring of lugonega sausage out of the freezer, and she is picking up ground beef at Weis after church. She wants the Sunday Sauce / gravy with macaroni; to be decided later....
I won't argue with that. I always said growing up, " Spaghetti every day; just cooked another way!"

I'll have an early dinner since I'm working tonight.
I bought a couple of frozen Gordon Ramsay meals.
Thinking I'll try the chicken pot pie.

How about you?
As pot pies go, I have to say this is superb.
It's single crust only, very flaky!
The chicken, vegs, mushrooms and filling are delicious and rich, but not heavy like other pot pies I've had.
It says microwave or oven.
I wouldn't do this one in the microwave.
Oven directions are to put in a room temperature oven, then turn on, bake @350 for 40-45 mins.
I'll definitely have this again.

Leftover lasagne tonight. Just got back from taking our neighbors to lunch at the casino.
They have a camping lot across the street from us and were here for a month last August. After they got home, their daughter (who just turned 12) died suddenly from complications after a tonsillectomy. It’s their first time back since.

I had half a sopressata and Genoa salami on Kaiser roll.
OHhhhhhh! That's my favorite peeps. It would be sausage making time when I was growing up.
I was the crank turner on the meat grinder. I remember the soppressata hanging up and drying in the cold part of the basement steps to outside. One year, in November, it got warm, and 65 pounds of it spoiled. Boy, Was that a disappointment..... Yeesh!
