I’m pretty sure it was a lean chuck roast.

I had a brat on a bun with onions and mustard and sweet potato fries with cinnamon and sugar at Speng's.
As always, busy and loud on a Friday. Lol

What the heck? I would have said "dry pot roast" and "lean chuck roast" were oxymorons!

Went to lunch at The Irish Cottage in Methuen with friend Christine today and we both got the fried haddock sandwich. Spectacular piece of fish and fries! Cole slaw was good, too. As was the Black & Tan.

We went to Marzano's tonight. I had the special, venison Ragu with gnocchi which was excellent.

It was a simple supper of spaghetti and a cover over of chili left over from yesterday. At least our colds and sniffles are going away, and we are finally getting our appetites back on the line.
I'm ready for my bedtime snack that will be some cheese and crackers.

Johnny's collard greens dish has inspired me for tonight's dinner.

I sliced and pan fried half of a ham steak, collard greens, sweet potatoes and bakery cornbread.
This hit the spot, on this cold, snowy day.
