Big hugs, Aubrey.
In time it'll get better.

Today did some banking, went to church about a plumbing problem, shopping at Winco, and then spent 45 minutes in the hot tub while it rained. I love the NW cold rain.

The next three days I sub teach. Tomorrow is the ACES class (autistic) so if you pray please remember my students and me.

That I will. Those kids can be difficult. Life is difficult for them also.

It was a difficult day especially for one lad.

I actually got to do some teaching.

Tomorrow is high school biology, something I know a bit about.

My condolences too, luvs. Take care of yourself.

I ordered the Nesco food vac machine...can't wait to mess around with the thing. Should be here tomorrow.

I've got some tree trimmers here to trim some branches that are hanging out over the roof. I can't even stand to go out there and watch. It just makes me a nervous wreck.

I have some plum branches need trimming and will baton them down for BBQ wood but will need some sunny days.

I just finished three days of subbing and will sit the granddaughter today. The coincidence is I'm making faux chicken enchiladas for dinner tonight. I use all Olde El Paso products, no cream soup.

:margarita:

I've been doing a lot of subbing from K and ELL to high school AP history classes. The kindergarten class wore me down but it was fun. Today's history classes were good.

Long socks are ready and finished.

Seems the needles aren´t free long as immediately when my mom saw them, she wanted similar...

Very nice Saliha! Those would sure keep you warm on the cold days that are on the way.

Glad you are feeling better Sass. :thumb:

I went for a short hike. Trying to do that more, as much as my back will allow. Nice day here. Up to 64. Enjoy it while we can.

I ended up having to go see my doctor yesterday and was diagnosed with a nasty upper respiratory infection, so am on antibiotics for that.

Just got back from voting not long ago.
Good turnout at the polls.

God Bless America, please become great again.

I blew leaves today. The more I cleaned, the more that fell.
It was warm out too! I was miserable from the heat. It's 58º out now at 5:45 PM.

I did some leaves yesterday but more to do.

Today went to church and wrote a report for the yearly report and more to get from other folks. It never seems to end. Tonight I'll go out for dinner and watch a bit of football. That is all.

I was with the cable guy all afternoon. They changed all the equipment and wiring to the six tv's.
What happened to the good old rabbit ears on the tv's?.....
We are now updated to the new Comcast Xfinity X1 system.
It's neat to change the channel by asking / talking into the hand remote ( clicker ).

Not a whole lot planned for today.
May do some leaf raking since it's going to be sunny and pleasant.
The wind the last couple of days blew them around, so the patio is pretty much full up against the side of the house.
I miss the days when we were allowed to rake them all to the edge of the street to burn.
The good ol' days. lol

Oh mine too!

.. and weenie and marshmallow roasts!
Around here, some people get away with burning theirs in a fire pit, tho it's not allowed.

Outside of town, people are allowed to burn in the country.
I'll bag as many as I can for the pick up day.
The ones missed can just blow hither and yon.

Growing up in PA, everyone had a burn barrel. An old 55 gallon steel drum with holes poked in the bottom and a mesh cover on top. It was one of the chore's for someone to burn the garbage, wood , or whatever burned in that barrel. Sometimes we burned leaves.

Table scraps sometimes would cause a putrid smell; especially if there were a lot of egg shells in the fire.
A lot of times, there were fights over who hung out the laundry on the clothes lines, and the one who burned on laundry day. Laundry day was always on a Monday. Tuesday was Ironing day.... No one hung out clothes on a Sunday.
Sunday working was taboo! All stores were closed, and no Bars open. They had what they called "The Blue Laws!"

Knitting continues, these are for mom:

And for sister:

Yarn is thicker with these ones. Not sure yet if I make socks or leg warners.

Those are very nice Saliha :flowers:

Went to the early bird Mass, then to the diner for a bite.
Blueberry pancakes and 3 sausages.

The sun is shining brightly.
Looks to be a nice week coming with the weather.
Mild and warmish for this time of year.

I got up with the birds and started housework which is just about finished except for dusting and sweeping the back bedroom.
Laundry going, washer and dryer humming.
Another good day with the weather too.
In fact, the entire week doesn't look bad at all.

I've been subbing a lot and when I get home just want to eat and go to bed. I did teach middle school math the other day and was chuffed to be able actually teach some algebra. Yesterday was elementary SPED reading and writing. Fun stuff, for me. I love reading to kids.

Today made a run to the commissary and Class VI store and now it's off to the dentist for a new mouth guard.

Since it's not raining, I'll smoke grill salmon tonight.
