Welcome to Net Cooking Talk

ArnettaMae

Hi All-
It is about Arnetta and Her Husband Warren I started Medically Eating- Tips and tricks. Warren had Pacreatic Cancer, and her time with him is more precious than Gold. Please Understand. Arnetta will have plenty to add to the Forum.
Thanks. Note Arnetta sent me!
"Hey Dan,
Maybe you can help me with this. I keep getting friend requests and I can see they could take a lot of time. I don't wish to appear rude and, as far as I'm concerned, everyone is my friend until he or she proves otherwise. My only real interest in this thing is the medical section of the site and that makes you the only friend I have time to communicate with. Is there somewhere I can post a general "hello" to everyone and tell all of the members all that? I need to devote all my time to caring for Warren and keeping our lives on track!
Love,
ArnettaMae

Re: ArnettaMae

Thank you for the information, Dan. Friendship requests are common but require no response.

Arnetta, my very best good wishes and prayers to Warren and you regarding your situation. My wife and I, having gone through a different kind of cancer situation this past year and a half have some understanding of what you are dealing with. Know that the forum staff and membership will help you in any way they can. If you have any problems with the forum please contact one of us via a Private Message, reporting a post, or by going through Warren.

Re: Hello people :-)

Welcome aboard Scott. Face Melting hot ehhh???? I love hot stuff but I'm older now and it can have some nasty side effects sometimes. Bams was kind enough to send me a sample of his Tropical Fire #2 and WHOAAA!!!!! Good stuff but I have to have it a little at a time.

I hope you'll share some of your favorite hot recipes as well as what your daily normal meals consist of. Always interesting to see what folks in other countries eat.

Sorry for the late welcome. Cheers!!!!

ps. Do you like Fosters beer?

Glad I can come onboard.

Re: Pleased to meet you..

Welcome to NCT, Fishbum. There are a few of us fishermen here, so feel free to post fish porn.

Re: Pleased to meet you..

Fisher'sMom, yes, that's moi' on the right. Guy on my right is Tom B., my client for the day.

Re: Pleased to meet you..

Homewater is anywhere I can wet a line. My favorite is the Kvichak River in Bristol Bay, Alaska.

Cool. Was just wondering as I'm on water here. Nice to be so close as to walk out to my back yard and fish, WHEN there is water!!!!

Re: Pleased to meet you..

Surprisingly JoeV, I don't have as many pics of fish as I should. Generally, as a guide, I handle all the fish with a few exceptions, but rarely was my camera available to shoot the shot.

Re: Pleased to meet you..

Fisher'sMom, that fish is a Kvichak River Rainbow. I can't recall what that one taped at...maybe 27". The fish looks smaller as I am holding it with a slight bend in the body. Thanks for the kudo's but the water I was guiding and the angler did it all.

Re: Pleased to meet you..

Welcome aboard. There are several of us here who do all kinds of fishing. Maybe we'll have to set up a separate sub forum.....

As soon as the wind dies down it's tarpon time. Woo hoo.

Re: Pleased to meet you..

Buzzard, where do you go after 'poons? I am overdo for a tarpon trip. I haven't been in two years but my favorite tarpon hangout is Marathon, in the Keys.
