Re: Hello my name is...

I guess that would depend on your ...ummm...orientation. Do you look good out of a bikini?

She does, as a matter of fact.

Send $29.95 plus shipping and handling to my address and I'll mail you original copies of photos taken..................................................................................................somewhere.........some time!

Re: Hello my name is...

Thanks for the invite! That "other" forum is kind of lame. I've posted comments there and I swear I could hear crickets chirping afterward, this place feels much more like home.

Re: Happy Birthday, GotGarlic

All right, I'll 'fess up. When I first joined the other site, I wasn't sure how the birthday info would be used, so I put a relative's birthday  I do that sometimes when you have to register for a site and I'm wary of identity theft. But today is really my birthday, so thanks

My best friend has taught me to celebrate Birthday Week - you celebrate for a whole week, so that if a card arrives late, the sender doesn't have to feel bad, because you're still celebrating! So DH gave me a surprise chocolate-glazed doughnut Monday, and took me to lunch Tuesday. Last night was my weekly dinner with my best friend, and she bought my dinner for my birthday - lobster ravioli and chocolate lava cake. Today my co-workers surprised me with flowers, a card and a cake at lunchtime. So even though DH is out of town for a few days, it's been great so far  He'll be back tomorrow and we have reservations here for Saturday night: Todd Jurich's Bistro Yummo doesn't begin to describe this place.

I felt bad accepting birthday wishes last month, but I rationalized that I was accepting them on behalf of my relative. Can you forgive me? :hide2: And can someone change it in my profile? TIA.

Re: Happy Birthday, GotGarlic

Well have a great second birthday. Our queen has two birthdays a year - the real one and an official one. You are therefore a bit like royalty.

Re: Happy Birthday, GotGarlic

Have a Fantastic Real Birthday, and enjoy at the Bistro.

I used to be stationed in Norfolk. Good Memory- I would walk into this large Grocery store, pick out a Steak and they would cook it up right in the store for you with sides! Do they still do that?

Thanks!

I remember that place, but I don't remember the name of it! Haven't been up that way in a while - the one I knew of was near the Naval Base, and since DH is out of the Navy now, we don't go there much anymore. But there's a restaurant where you pick out a steak and cook it yourself with everyone else on a great big indoor grill. They have salad and potato bars for sides  Haven't been there in a while, either.

Yup, like family, but ya really gotta stop borrowing my Playboys...

So that's where they've been going. :pat: Every time I wanna borrow them "for the articles", they're gone!

We do, and you'll even learn to tolerate some of 'em.

I'm OK, it's the rest of 'em whut's screwed up! :whistling:
