Andy made shrimp salad and quiche Lorraine - all pretty good. The quiche was Joy of Cooking recipe.

Lunch was a cold canned chili of Hormel chili and a hot cup of coffee. I have to admit I liked the chili and will buy more.

Not chili, but I've been thinking about having baked beans over crispy fries with cheese.
There used to be a diner in Delphos that served those.

I went to a new place, to me, in our area called egghole. I had the double sausage with cheese, runny egg, and honey mustard aioli. It was all good, albeit messy, and had to use a knife and fork. I’ll be back.
We went to Ridgefield today for shopping. While there, we had lunch at the BevRidge Public. I had the Fig & Burrata salad and the Strawberry Fields Mocktail. DH had the Smash Burger and a Pepsi. They recently changed the Roasted Tomato & Burrata salad to this new Fig version. A tad on the sweet side for me. I preferred the Tomato version. But, all in all, a good lunch.

Lunch at the gun club was pretty basic and won’t need supper. I had a small piece cake for dessert, as well.

We shared 6 raw and 6 deep fried oysters.
We started with a cup of thier house made clam chowder that was more like soup without the thickening.

Nancy got their cioppino which was more like a stew than a soup. She brought most of it home. I got the halibut and chips and could only eat two pieces. Coleslaw was house made and excellent as was the halibut.

Dessert was carrot cake but the best part was the vanilla ice cream.

After visiting my son in Seattle I ran errands while Nancy made soup. I got two slices at WinCo…. $2.79 for the two.

The WinCo pizza’s are a good deal, dough and pizzas are made in house. You can buy a whole one cooked, or fresh, and take home to bake. $7. They used to do made to order but recently quit that and only offer pepperoni, cheese, or a combo. I have a combo in the freezer we didn’t cook Super Bowl Sunday.

I was out running errands, feeling peckish, and was close to Habit so stopped and got the double char burger with bacon and a chocolate shake. This was first time at Habit and will be back.
I love their fried green beans!

BBQ here at the gun club. The hotdogs were large and had a peppery bite. I had one with bun and one with out and was too full to have a burger. I never did shoot but will hang about and see if anyone is going to shoot and will hook up either them.

Lunch was two Nathan’s hotdogs and a can of chili. The yellow mustard gave it a nice tang.
