This is what my family and I look like!

Aimee is 41 and has been through a lot in life.
I think that's why we've always gotten along so well.
I loved her instantly the moment I met her all those years ago.
Just wish she and my son were still together.
But, if they were I wouldn't have my little grandbabies.
Life turns out very odd sometimes.

too not me, guys-- not me @ all!! must of went 2.5 daze aslumber, leaving my state-of-snooze only to have h2o to squeeze a few k-durs & magnesiums into my belly, get annoying cell dials (my feeding tube ppl rang me, via 5 ppl, so calming my swearing politely @ unknown ppl has drastically begun to fade, until i lost my bleepin' calm persona (i'm so not calm, usually, tho-- namely as i'm looking to snooze while my cell keeps trilling, as media says)-- un-trill me; i'm sick w/ flu, bleepiches-- & since ur on ur way over, bring me a cough prep, something to keep my stomach calm, earplugs, & i've my hair appointment that u made that cancellation 4 & got me another, tho my tresses look chitty-- (yeah, may have told him to; don't listen to me if i'm ill!!) so, i look kinda dead, nothing cosmetics cannot cover, my tresses-- ugh!!~~ u should see that piece they shave & my brows need a wax, too-- ughhh!!~~
i'm not so lovely @ being ill~~

Jeff was sending me pics thru messenger last night.
Here are a few.
Himself when he was "the tank" in highschool with our doxies Heidi and Sophie.
Heidi had goofy ears since puppyhood.
They folded in half and stood out. Lol

Then two of my eldest granddaughter Kasey when she was a baby.
Her little red peach fuzz head. :D

Nate & Sam dragged me out to a Cirque du Soleil show, VOLTA, yesterday...... this was my fourth show, and this was the least impressive....


Also i should note that concessions have gone crazy... $5 for a bottle of water, $9 for a box of popcorn....


Another change... seats are so narrow, I was practically holding hands with the lady to my left....


But it was good to get out, and to have my attention diverted for a while...


The Grandparents sat with Sydney for the evening.

This week there was an International Kite Festival at Long Beach, WA. Peter and Megan took Amelia and they had a great time.

These hot off the presses.
My son and Granddaughter have been up since way early this morning for her color guard competition at a county fair.
She's being home schooled but is still allowed to be on the team.
Out of 32 schools, they took first place!

Those two have been through hell and back over the last few years.
He is the best Father and she is just awesome and very strong now.
Am I proud?

The Kitchen, IS the control center. My laptop ;....Tinas laptop on the island,
and the kitchen TV. The weather station, and all the stuff to make eats.

this is a 1915 Model T as best I can figger -
my ggrandmother - oldest son at the wheel, youngest son on the running board....

this is I think the oldest photo - "in the old country" -my g-grandmother (who is standing next to the Model T in the prior pix) on the lap of my g-g-grandmother. this would have been 1860'ish; my grandmother's parent came to USA in 1901 at age 3.
they lived at Kaserweg 14 in Medgyes/Mediasch - then Astro-Hungry (now Romania) - in the region Transylvania (!)
nadda too far from old Vlad . . .

anyone know anything about the hat garb? must be part of the area's ethnic dress...

heehee. I always wondered if it wasn't a Russian area influence. depending on who won which war-of-the-month, that geography was 'controlled' by Russia to Austria to Germany to Turks.....


I did find one Romanian shape that sorta' matched, a 'turban' on steroids - but it was a bride's hat and explicitly white with decorations....
