This is what my family and I look like!

Be still, my heart! You are a total hunk, Lefty.

BTW - are those pics of your little girl on the wall? She is completely adorable.

This is from last night at the Ho Ho Kus Inn

Sooooooooo, in an effort to keep my marriage in the same bedroom, I underwent a sleep test last night. Pretty, eh?

Ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hah ahahhahahahahah lol

Wow, Buzz! (Were all the electrodes attached to your head?) And more importantly, what did they find out?

So far they are positive that I do not snore through the top of my head.

Results were sent to the ENT who prescribed the sleep test in the first place and I'll find out next visit which is in a couple of weeks.

These spouses are so picky....

My friend went through that, and as a result, got a mask with a hose hooked up to some machine, to wear when she sleeps.

She and her husband said it's the answers to their prayers - they BOTH sleep like babies now!

Good luck, Buzz!

CPAP. I'm trying to avoid it. There is a relatively new process called the pillar procedure, minimal surgery to stiffen the soft palate. Hopefully this is all I need. If nothing else, there are chinupstrips and they seem to work for me.

lol, buzz. i went through that last year. not that i snore, but i only sleep a few hours a day. dw got worried because it's inhuman, so she made me go.

after the test, the doc looked at all of the data from the electrodes on my head and said he found nothing...

rimshot-crash!

lol, actually i have a slight case of uars (upper airway resistance syndrome), but my major problem was that i awakened 35 times that night.

i guess it's from 23 years of doing a mix of midnight and day shifts every week.

so, were you as uncomfortable as i was trying to sleep attached to a giant electrical harness? i was mostly worried about farting and making bed tents when i slept while the nurse/technician was watching. no wonder i couldn't sleep.

That can't be good for a person, BT.

What did they recommend you do? Stop working swing shifts?

Is there any kind of treatment to allow you to have the REM sleep you need?

I don't have my picture made often, but here a couple that I do have. I've enjoyed looking at all of your photos! The first couple are from when my son was born. He was almost 3 months early and really sick, but you wouldn't know it now...he is as healthy as an ox! The last one is of my daughter and me. :)
