I think its time to remodel. We need 6 52" LCDs in the sports room. A new card table in the smoking lounge. A guest BBQ area next to the horseshoe pits.

Howdy everyone, I'm having a Screwdriver on the rocks and I like mine a bit strong... 3/4 Vodka and 1/4 Orange Juice and I'm having a Bud to help chase it down. So how's everyone getting along today? It's been kind of a slow day for me I slept much of the day away due to staying up so late last night but I'm here and, well lets put it this way if I were a few years younger I might feel like running a relay.
 
Ha, you crack me up life!! I'll have another Bud and join you. I use to run track in high school and I don't know if I could run 1/2 mile now. lol
 
By the way... I don't think i could run across our frontroom if i had to. With my luck i'd probably break my neck in the process of it.

The last time i remember running was about 6 years ago when i was working in as a CNA in a local nursing home and i went running after an elderly lady that took off running out the door... Totally Naked! Heehee.

I could write a book on all of the stuff i've gone through in working in the nursing home. Not to be disrespectful but i'v had a lot of good laughs and then there has been some tears shead to toward residents that i became too attached to.

But I definetly don't regret taking on the job. The job was very rewarding and a lot of wonderful memories.

Oh! and when i finally caught up with the naked lady and tried to get her coaxed into going back to put some clothes on she went to hitting me on my arm and i calmy told her "now wait a minute, we don't hit around here" so what did she do from there? she kicked me on the leg! lol. I then had to tell her that "we don't kick either". Well after that i finally got her enticed to go back inside and get dressed.

You're our eyes and ears darling.
You gals and guys who are STNA's and CNA's have my total love and respect.
I am not a nurse who thinks for a moment that I am above you at all.
I LOVE to have the chance to bathe people, and do some of the care work when I can (which isn't often) aside from passing meds, doing my treatments and uhhh being swamped with all the lovely paperwork.
 
You both are and were angels in disguise. I just wish more of them worked out here. lol
To both of you Nightingales.................drinks on me!!! Oh, and I'll have a Bud.
