The Virtual NCT Bar & Grill

Hey Keltin.
I'm drinking a gin and tonic winding down, with 3 windows open.
That's windows on the computer, not in the house... it's raining here. :-)

Hi Sush!
Well, I am sitting here listening to it rain.. had a pretty nice shift at work, I am logged into FF as well, but it's sorta quiet there, so I have another window open browsing allnurses.com

I love Bill Maher, Sushi. Did you see Religulous?

Rain at night is the loveliest sound in the world, I think. I sleep so well when it's raining. But it makes my hair get big and frizzy. Does it do that to you, Sass?

Rarely miss him! Are you a Maher fan? The others I love are Jon Stewart ans Steve Colbert.

I can't believe we have Sushi & Keltin in the house at the same time!

I LOVE Bill Maher, and yes Terry, I did see Religulous!
My hair is always a big mess, rain has nothing to do with it :yum:

So I'm trying to plan a little party for my mom, who will be 75 in June. The catch is, she doesn't like anyone cooking in her house. We can use the microwave and the fridge. (She's a little crazy.) I'm thinking it would just be easier to bring a cake and order out food. Does that sound too lazy? Otherwise, I would have to try and cook here in San Antonio and then transport it to Houston.

It being her birthday is the important thing, Terry.
If she doesn't like anyone being in her kitchen, respect it and take a cake, then ask her what she'd like most with the order out grub.
That's what I'd do.

I'm so glad you said that, Sass. It will be awesome because all 7 kids and their respective spouses and girlfriends will be there, along with my new granddaughter. It will be mom's first great-grandchild and the first time she will meet her. I'd hate to mess it up by having her worry that one of the cats will get burned on the hot stove. LOL
