SS...'warm and happy people' !?! hahahaha..they've been married over 50 years. They drive each other crazy. We (my brother and sister, and all their grandchildren) all believe that they stay together because either no one else would have them or they'd die apart.

True, though...they do tend to laugh, especially when Marianne is not bossing him around.:whistling:

Ms. Apron arrived at my door a few minutes ago, and loudly proclaimed that she was just too tired of cooking for all these people. She insisted that we take her out for dinner!

So we dressed her up in her best feather boa, and we're off for the evening! SousChef even let her borrow her heart pendant!

Just thought I'd show you how she looks all dressed up:

I'm going to take some good pics of the signatures for all to see, and I'll compile a list of her travels to date.

She's headed to the post office on Monday to visit Fisher. If Fisher's Mom is real good, I'll bet Fisher will share.

While we're waiting for Fisher to take some pics of his mom, I thought I'd show you some of Ms. Apron's R&R activities while she was in Florida. Of course, you saw her all dressed up for dinner. We actually took her out to the movies (Despicable Me in 3-D) and then to dinner at Mattison's Twin Dolphins (seafood house on the river). But I forgot to take the camera! Sorry!

When she came home, we invited a few of the local apron friends for social hour. Our Ms. proudly wore her toque while swapping stories with her new friends.

Then she insisted on a nap before beginning her long trip to Texas.

Alright, who else wants the apron? I see a couple mods missing! And some others had said they might join in later. At this moment, the list is a clean slate, so if you're ready, speak up!
 
Any news on the missing apron?

(I've been involved with 3 of these type events, and in every one, the
item always ended up gone, never forwarded by someone who then drops
off the forum. Sad. I'd be happy to send a pre-stamped and addressed mailer
to whomever has it now....)
 
I was absolutely 100% positive we would get the apron back. But, as of yet I'm wrong. I hate to use the 'jinx' word but the last few who have gotten the apron have not been heard from again. :confused:
Perhaps we can figure out a plan of attack to get it back but at this point I'm at a loss. Thanks for the bump / reminder.

Well, that thing was pretty darned important when it first started getting passed around.
Can't believe anyone would be so careless with it knowing it's been a part of this forum's fun.
 
Not to take this dilemma too lightly, but I just told DW that for a change something is NOT MY FAULT.:bonk: She still insists I had something to do with it.

Thanks Bams but I don't want to put TG or anyone else in the middle of this. I'm optimistic about us getting it back, and you all will be the first to know when that happens.
 
What a bummer! Did you guys get the apron back? I was having so much fun seeing all you guys in the pics and then to read it disappeared! Darn it. It is nice to put a face with a name too.

I'm gonna like this site. :wave:
