Arghhhhhhhhh.

Have you ever typed something out that took some time and hit some stupid key (obviously the wrong one) and lose it all???? Damn!! I just typed out my whole recipe for the chicken enchiladas which half comes from my head and I just lost it all!! I don't know what I did, but it was the wrong thing. I'll just wait til tomorrow to do it again. lol

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hate when i type out a long reply post in detail and WHAM gone!! with recipes i now type all my recipes in OneNote then copy to post.

do you have a beef enchilada recipe also?

Actually I do....I'll try to get that one posted too.
 
I got burned.....badly burned on these stone crab claws. When I was going through them and washing them off, I noticed that some of them felt "light". Sure enough after they were steamed, some of them were just bad. The meat should be plump, moist, and juicy and fill the shell. About 1/2 of these were just gross. You can even tell from the pic. The black part should be shiny, not gray :(. I have another package that will be going back, and I will be telling them about these. I was more pissed last night :angry: when we were ready to eat and cracking them open than I am now. Dang, and I was sooooo ready for some of these. When they're good, they're great!

Sorry Cooksie...I don't miss misadventures with seafood. I used to live on the coast, and had little-to-no trouble finding quality seafood. But now that I live further in-land, I try to avoid seafood as much as possible (purchasing it to cook) because who knows what condition it'll be in. I can trust a few stores for fish, shrimp and the like, but shell fish/crab, forgetaboutit! Hope the next batch you get rock your socks! (((hug)))

That's good to know. They were frozen, but all we get here is frozen or previously frozen. You guys who can get fresh (really fresh) seafood are lucky ducks!
 
My mom knew me tonight but at some point she was babbling in a way that I could not understand what she was trying to express. The love we share was expressed but that was about all I could understand. She is painfree and happy but it is so sad to see her like this.

it's good that you can sense your connection and emotions with your mom when her outer communication skills fail. there's more to keeping someone's company than just words, anyway.
 
Since this is the "Pissed Off" thread (which I just found actually, lol) the few things that piss me off are ignorance, rudeness and selfishness. I'm slow to temper but when I come across those features, look out! My Irish temper goes into full swing! lol

I'm embarrassed to admit how many posts I miss on here. Running 5 forums can be a bit much at times. I'm sorry I missed this when you posted Susan. I don't care for this thread and normally avoid it, but I wandered in tonight and see you posted this about a month ago. hope you are doing okay, like BT said ...hang in there girl. I know it has to be so tough. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom.
 
It pisses me off that my back is hurting and has been troubling me for quite some time, and I may have to have surgery in the future.
Yay for me..

That's what's contributed to it over the years.

I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease years ago, which in itself sounds horrible, but it's pretty common.
I've been through therapy, chiropractors, injections and even acupuncture.

My chiropractor advised never to have surgery for this, my family doctor thinks a lumbar fusion will be in my future.
 
my flippin' TV just took a shit again. I was watching it and then it popped and shut off. I can hear kinda like a humming noise in the back - it hums twice then nothing. We just got the motor and lamps replaced in November of last year. The TV was purchased 01/31/07. This is the 3rd flippin' time something has gone wrong with it. I am so pissed. Tom remembers the last guy that came and fixed it telling him that if they have to come out more then 3 times - they will replace our TV with a newer model. I am about to go ape shit on them. The customer service guy couldnt speak enlish very well - no big surprise. They are coming out on Monday which is quick. Took them 3 weeks last time. UGH!!
 
I need to vent here guys. My little brother was in this relationship with a woman that was psycho, or maybe evil. The tow of us took very different paths in life but we always loved to go fish or hunt together. He had a similar relationship with my boys. She put an end to that. To give you an idea of what I'm dealing with she screamed at my mother over an inappropriate gift. At the time Mom was in the final stages of Lou Gherig's disease.

So after she kicked him out of her house (which he more than helped to pay for) he's taken her back. She's a parasite both spiritual and financial simply, plain evil. If I was 1500 miles closer, playing the role of big brother kicking ass would be easy.

Something needs to be done about her.
God Mike, I hate it when stuff like this creeps up within relationships of our own family members.
Makes you feel so helpless.:sad:
