I watched a documentary on the life and career of Terry Kath.
For those of you not familiar with the name, he was in the band Chicago.
The documentary was made by his daughter- who was just a baby when he died.
Very sweet, lots of old film footage.
Loved it.

My friend and I started to watch the 10-episode series "Them" on Prime Video last night, because Stephen King said it scared him.

We watched the first two episodes; scared us, too! It's excellent!

I'm watching "Them" right now. So far, it's really good. I don't really like or agree with what's happening on the movie, but it's still pretty good.
I guess I haven't watched enough to get to the scary stuff.

I said I was done watching anything to do with the royals.
Last night I finally watched Queen Victoria's Letters. ?
I thought it was going to be one of those boring, stuffy documentaries.
The commentators really did a grand expose'...
I actually laughed out loud over how scathing and unabashedly honest it was.

Watched this last night.
None of you are probably fans of Rush, except for Mark.
Maybe Peeps?
It went through their start at small venues, then struggling for years to finally get recognition as a legitimate alternative rock band.
I've been a fan for as long as I can recall and stuck with them through the years.

Never saw them. I did see Joan Jett when she was starting up in some small clubs.
Joan Jett?
That's awesome ?

First time my Mother ever heard me playing Rush's Working Man full blast I thought she was going to have a fit ?

She hated Geddy Lee's voice.

This is my all time favourite Rush song.

The other night we watched Small Town Crimes on Netflix and will say it’s entertaining but bloody.
I liked it.

I finally decided to get hulu.
So far there are way too many things to choose from.
Good stuff though.
I've noted and saved a bunch because my friend Pauline said you have to get it.

Miracle in the Woods - Prime Video
It's a family drama about people from two different races coming together, caring about each other, and helping each other. It's a tear jerker, but I really liked it.

Any good scary movies on Prime Video you'd recommend, Cooksie? Or anybody?

Not sure I trust the star rating system on Prime.

I see from your other post that you're still with your dad. He might like Jack London's To Build a Fire. I don't think it's on prime, but I think it's on youtube. Video quality is probably not very good. I was actually thinking about the book/movie where the guy is surrounded by hungry wolves and is afraid of being eaten alive, but I don't remember the name of that book. Maybe it's the same as London's To Build a Fire, but they just cut that part out. ?‍♂️ .

I watched a documentary on the life of Barbara Rubin and the NY underground last night.
Entertaining and somewhat disturbing.

We just finished Line of Duty. We re watched it from the first episode to the last of this season. I’m not sure if there will be a season 8 but it ended with questions unanswered.
