Random Picture Thread - Part Deux

First let me say that I'm glad you're okay and that you got your bike out. But, OMG, epic fail comes to mind!

Buzz, your Sam is a gorgeous little girl!

Geeze HC...glad you're okay! That looks horrific!

Here's a couple pics of my grandsons from yesterday.

Awww Buzz....she's a keeper!

Cheese.....I'm glad you're okay but I can't believe you weren't hurt.....you really need to play the lottery.

Barb, all that work on the pool was worth it when you see how much those babies are enjoying it...not that you're enjoying it or anything

Was play riding in this sand pit. We had alot of rain the few days before that turned some spots into basically quicksand. The top looked dry, you can tell cuz my back tire is still dry - haha! I didn't know about these spots and attempted to ride across, I went ass over tea kettle into it, had to lay down on my chest to get my legs out. So yeah, the front of my bike is completely submerged into that liquified sand mixture. Took 5 guys and a guy on a 4 wheeler to get it out, and it was no easy task.

Well, did you get hurt? Geez, you are just recuperating from the last crash!

The bike is probably fine, right?

Sheesh.

Thanks Mama! Yes, we've ALL been enjoying it.

Cute kids, Barb!

The boy on the right looks a lot like you!

Lee

That's funny you say that Lee because he's the middle one (Kyle) and has so many of my mannerisms too that it's uncanny.

Not really exciting pictures, but I thought it was pretty cool to get out of bed and see a sunflower right there, in my second floor bedroom window! LOL!

The other picture was taken out of my window, too. I love sunflowers and they would be really unbelievable if I didn’t have to plant them in pots!

What IS going on, Cooksie? Home improvement?

God, I hate home improvement projects! I would rather live in shabbiness than have to go through all that upheaval.

Lee

Yeah, the dreaded home improvements....stripping wallpaper, texturing, and painting. This is day 5, so I have lived with slimy piles of wallpaper, thin layers of white dust on everything, piles of tools, ladders....., but I'll be a happy camper when it's done .

We are replacing counter tops and crossing fingers everything is "IN" by Thanksgiving.

I'll cross my fingers for you too! When I had my counter tops re-done, I had something planned (forget what), and had it all organized to the T. Well, they got everything done but the bar/island countertop. We ended up having to put up a big piece of plywood over it. I covered it with a tablecloth and called it good to go. We still had a good time :D , but I sure did want it all completed before the tododa.

Some of my favorite photos from my mini-vacation in Provincetown, MA last weekend.

Since I moved my office home, Here are my babies, 2 PC's 1 Apple, all networked.

Including a network printer / scanner and two Internet phone numbers.

Okay, I'll ask, Adillo: why do you need 3 computers within inches of each other?

Lee

The Apple is because I need to be able to try out things on an Apple for customers that have an Apple. One of the PC's is for e-Mail, letter / proposal writing, etc. The third does billing. I try to be very paperless, mail is scanned and shredded. I can bring a document up on one PC and be using it as a reference for a remote session on the other PC.

Also, I can have three remote sessions going at once.

My DIY dresser project:

It looks black in the garage pic, but it's really a very dark brown. It's not perfect by any means, but good enough for me. I enjoyed the painting part. You can just kind of let your mind wander and relax.

Lee, the one on the left is an aquarium, everyone knows Mac doesn't make real computers! :yum::yum::yum:

Andy, I had a similar 3 computer setup for years. IBM PC-XT (with the big hard drive, the 10 meg one and an AST 6 pack), a DEC PRO-350, and an Adds Viewpoint plugged into an AT&T 3B2-400. Latest and greatest software on the IBM, Visicalc and Wordstar. The DEC used proprietary software to communicate with some remote PDP-11's, the unix box ran the main billing system and the IBM handled engineering support software for remote sites with Motorola 6800's in them. Couple of leased t1's on the high capacity connections and everything else was 300 baud dialup.
