I love that tat plan, Aubrey.
Thinking about getting another one myself, course it'll have to be where it doesn't show.
St. Therese Of Lisieux, on my side? back?.. because she's always been on my side ;)
It's going to take a lot of ink and $$, but I'm going to get it.. eventually.

This really gives me the creeps! I was sitting on the patio this morning having a cup of coffee, glanced over, and spied this snake wound around in a pot plant. One of the guys who mows got him out and killed him . I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to sit out there and enjoy a cup of coffee again :chicken: .

More great photos, guys!

Vera, what was your cocktail that evening?

Lee

We took these pictures back in early June (last month). There is a small tree growing next to the backside of the house, and a bird built a big nest in it and laid four eggs. She built the nest low, so it was only about chest high and easy for us to watch.

DW watched them everyday as they hatched, and made sure not to touch them. She finally convinced me to start taking pics of them, and it was almost too late!!

I’ve never in my life seen something (besides a weed) grow so fast!

From the day these eggs hatched and they grew up and flew off…..10 days! That is it. 10 days from hatched to flight. I was floored.

I managed pics of the last 3 days.

These pictures are only 24 hours apart!!!!!

:wow:

Great pictures, Keltin...thanks for sharing them with us.

You're welcome Karen, and thank you.

These pictures blow my mind because they are literally 24 hours apart. I had no idea birds grew so fast!! It's amazing!

Speaking of growing......how's Milo doing?

Thanks for asking about Milo - he is just about a year old now, and has grown so fast. He's now bigger than any of the cats. He still has a totally sweet and affectionate disposition. We just finished a huge litchi harvest from the tree in the center of our patio. Milo LOVED them! Here he is gobbling some litchis...he peels 'em, pops out the seed and eats them in a second! We put bunches of them in the freezer, so he can enjoy them all year long.
