I dropped my keys on the end table, as usual tonight, and this is how they landed.

Think it's a sign?

Yikes, LS! I hope that's not a bridge that you need to cross any time soon. We've been getting some rain for the last few days, but we need it badly. Looks like you've had enough.

Geez, LS - where was that picture in relation to you?

And Cooksie, ick! Where did you find THAT?

Lee

He was creeping along the patio having a nice day until I happened upon him with my camera .

Very pretty, LS! Looks as if you are really enjoying your mobility!

I love the cat, LS - it that a mouse hole or a knot hole he's guarding? He's a beauty.

Cooksie - that's some excellent photo of the snail - I don't think I've ever seen one "on the hoof" like that. How in the world does he get himself - all of him - tucked inside that shell, anyway? Very carefully, I presume!

I don't know, Ian. I guess he's just a slick little fella :D.

Beautiful kitty, LS. I'm sure he's thinking....Let me in, Mama!

I hung a set of 3 gingerbread men made of bird seed out in my garden today. They looked so cute that I had to take a couple of pix. (the third guy is out of the frame - you're not going blind!)

Tomorrow, the squirrels will have discovered them and they'll be gone.

And ..... two out of three of the gingerbread bird seed men are gone this morning.

I've been watching the squirrels munch on them, little by little. Only one is left now, and he's missing a leg.

I have not seen one single bird land on these things!

I had to make my annual trek to Lowe's a while back and get my container plants for 2014.

Impatiens for hanging baskets:

This is my first experience with this one, but so far I'm loving it.

Not a plant but it's green and it's big. and one of my favorite guitarists. He is kind wild though.
