Oh no! Wasabi's in the kitchen.

Wasabi

All of you know I don't like to cook, so when I do, I post it in the joke section. I do cook. Stews, roasts, BBQ etc. but now cooking for one is unnecessary, so I do fast food, sandwiches or the easy cooking route.

I don't cook much now and when I do I like it simple and fast. This was my dinner two days in a row. It's called~

Wasabi's a Ham and She's Chessy

Ingrediants: one container of Kraft Velveeta microwavable Shells and Cheese
one portion slice of precooked ham, diced and fried.

Cook shells and cheese as instructed on the container. The cheese is real, not powdered. ;D

Add the diced ham last and mix. Delish!

Enjoy with beverage of choice. Eat right out of the microwavable cup. No dishes to wash.

Amazed at my culinary expertise, huh? Here's another one of my gastronomic concoctions.

It's called~Is there a hot dog in my chili or are you just glad to see me?

Ingredients:
1 can Hormel Chili with Beans (hot or mild)
1 or if you're younger, two hot dogs boiled or fried.
hot rice
shredded pizza cheese or cheese of your choice.

Heat your chili
Cook your hot dog(s)
Cook your rice

Pour heated chili over your hot rice.
Place whole or diced hot dogs on your chili.
Top with shredded cheese.
Micro till cheese is melted.

Have with beverage of your choice. Enjoy.

P.S. Can you tell I'm on medication?

:yum::yum::yum: I've made the first recipe, Wasabi, and I agree that it is much better with the real cheese and not the powdered cheese packet.

The second one is something I will try - I think the rice would dress it up.

Did you catch the thread where Qsis tells how she heats her sake in the microwave? Sounds like a "beverage of choice" to me!

I'm so glad to see you here, Linda. Did you have a wonderful birthday?

And I have made the second before!!! LOL. I think my beverage of choice was always root beer soda, but a warm sake sounds good too!
Oh, and to make myself feel better I would often add fresh diced onions on top. Then I could say I put some more prep into it, LOL.

Can't say you are never "prepared" Mav.:brows:
Never was a sake fan but a mocha frappachino goes wonderfully with both epicurean delights. :thumb:

Had a nice birthday with the help of wonderful friends and family.

LOL! Linda, I actually would love the two things you posted.

But the names you gave the dishes are the best! "It's called~Is there a hot dog in my chili or are you just glad to see me?"

LOL!

Hey, can I share in those meds????

Would you believe my Aunty has a local cooking show? She's great and I cook just like her. So if you plan to have chicken instead of turkey this Thanksgiving, here's a "how to". Happy Thanksgiving my cyber Ohana!
