New dinner thread, Sunday, March 9 to Saturday, March 16, 2025

We tried a new place for Fish & Chips. Meh, I've had better. When we got home, I made a batch of enchilada sauce (3 for the freezer and 1 for tonight) and then a pan of cheese and onion enchiladas. We're having a big platter of nachos too. Everything is ready, just need to pop things into the ovens. But first, the doggies need to eat and do their yard time.

Cheese and onion enchiladas sound great to me!

We went to a place called The Megabite. More of a pub than a restaurant. With arcade games, etc. The specialize in Pizza and British style Fish & Chips. It gets good reviews and a friend's son agreed that it is good fish...but I guess there's "good" and then what I consider "good"?

Tonight will be leftovers from lunch! We decided to take the "new" car out to exercise her (2023 Jeep with less than 2,000 miles). We drove up to Kalama and had lunch at the Lucky Dragon. I really should have known better, we have lunched there before. Since my surgery, I'm not able to eat a huge meal...even in the past, I could not come even close to finishing a meal at LD. Portions could feed a small family, I do believe. Next time, we'll need to share...
