After few weeks here will be flowers:

Corn flowers, poppies and asters.


A big box of lettuces are ready to eat:

Green lettuce:

Red lettuce:

I sow yesterday new frame with lettuces so they will be ready when these ones are eaten. To the new one I also added one row of rucola lettuce.

Golden balls grow well at this year:

Spinach is soon ready for harvest (It means spinach pies soon ). After that, I will sow dill to its place:

White strawberry grows beside of gooseberry. It seems to be half-wild as it grows the best where it spreads by itself:

Peas got their supporters:

Enough chamomile for the evening tea:

Foxglove starts it´s flowering:

Behind of foxglove seems to be lovage. Many of my herbs escape from their original beds sooner or later.

After some days I will harvest spinach and then carrots have more space to grow bigger.

"Fairy ring" sounds much more romantic than what it is in my language as "witch circle". I feel that fairies are nicer creatures than witches.

Weather has changed warmer and zucchinis started to grow rapidly. This one made two flowers to one stem:

Here was continuously rain almost 24 hours and after that, garden looks much greener than before:

You have a lovely garden this year, Saliha. We are down to one herb bed and it has grown wild. This week I will prune it back. Our flowers are doing ok but need work, too.

Saliha, have you ever stuffed the squash blossoms? I did it a couple of times. http://www.netcookingtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15386&highlight=blossoms

Delicious, but something of a pain, since they are coated with tempura and deep fried. I love to eat that stuff but hate to make it!

English marigolds open their buds soon, this might be quite dark orange or red:
