At the yesterday and last night was heavy wind and it broke one "money maker" tomato. Seems that also the brances were heavy because of tomatoes.
1,5 kg tomatoes from one plant - a money maker really is the money maker.
Now I just need to wish they will turn to red inside.
Three more zucchinis are coming:
Sunflowers I sow beside of the wall have started to bloom:
There are yellow and red ones.

Try storing your tomatoes in a brown paper bag.
They should turn ripe then.

Aren't sunflowers among the happiest of all flowers??
One of the Mammoth seeds I planted should have just been one giant stalk with one giant bloom. But it had over 20 flowers! A whole bouquet in one stalk!
One of the red autumn varieties has just bloomed - beautiful!

I found a smaller 'hen of the woods' last week but so much was going on I never cut it and now it's too late. Today I found another not far from that one and it's past due, as well. At home mushroom hunting is so competitive some folks carry side arms for protection - I'm not kidding.

What kind of "wild west" you are living? 
In here usually old ladies are collecting mushroom and they are not dangerous.
Mushrooming is one of my favorite outdoor activities! I was taught by my Polish relatives and only pick a couple of varieties that I know are safe. I dry them and use them with pot roast and in soup.

P.S. Saliha, that is a lovely photo of (I think) an Amanita muscaria - not safe to eat.

Because cold temperatures outside, I have had to place chilies indoors. When I watered them, I suddenly noticed this:
And after a little searching, I found many more, but still green ones:
I finally succeeded in growing chilis. Better late than never.
Hopely those others too will turn to red - before it´s a middle winter here.

Here is the result of the latest harvest:
Broad bean - bush bean - carrot - zucchini soup.
As the weather is changing real cold (under the zero), the harvest period seems to end soon. But I still have a lot of herbs left and they survive a few degrees below zero.
Soon its time to start planning the next season.

Garden cleaning today. The frames are now empty and wait the next spring.
I got a lot of good soil as frames were like mini-composts.
Garden looks now empty without those frames:
Here is a new compost bed for zucchinis and pumpkins:
It doesn´t look very good now, just a pile of plant trash but this compost bed where I had shark fin melons, looked just similar at the last autumn:
Now its full of mold.
One sun flower is still left:
