Yes, we do.

I went to Tunisia in the early 90's and got cooking cards in English. They are recipes of traditional Tunisian dishes. I love the lamb with veg and pumpkin on a bed of cous cous. I imagine the zucchini would do well with that, as well. One can't beat the Harissa on the side.

I just took a picture of one of my sunflowers. The blossom isn't the biggest, but there are over a dozen buds on this thing! So cool!

Saliha, my mini roses did not have many blossoms. Maybe you have advice?

I planted them in a large half whiskey barrel and they got all-morning sun. Bought them in the supermarket. Fed them with slow-acting plant food one time.

I'm disappointed in them.

I too bought my mini-roses from the supermarket and put them to very sunny place - but during the summer other plants, like dahlias, grew well and covered them. So they have been in shadow, not at the direct sunlight. Of my mind it might not be the best place for them at all but they are still alive and flowering.

I fed them by crushed eggs shells (from my kitchen) and vegetable fertilizer. I might need to add some garden lime as roses like soil what is quite alkaline (ph 6 - 6,5).

All roses have a big spring bloom and then another one in the fall. In between they don't flower as much. A lot depends upon the weather. Right now it is blistering hot in the Valley so I'm not getting very many blooms and some of the flowers look burned. As a rule supermarket roses are not the best. You're better off buying from a nursery and even better from a rose grower. I've bought some of my mini roses off the internet. These are named rose that have competed in shows.

Go to www.forloveofroses.com. They are more expensive than the grocery store but you'll have better luck. You might also want to take a look at the potting soil that you used. Use a fertilizer that is specific for roses. By the way I have something like 50 or 60 roses of all sizes. I recently joing the Rose Society. They have a website that provides information.

Before I haven´t succeed with tomatoes very well but at this year I made a lot of work for them. Now I just afraid that colder weathers come too early and soon I have a lot of green tomatoes everywhere.

Anyways, like many gardeners, I too am kind of megalomaniac with gardening - already head full of new plans for the next summer, bigger garden and more plants.

I've not had fried green tomatoes but am willing to try.
Is there a special way to do this?

I've only had fried red tomatoes the past few years after
having an Irish breakfast fry up in Whistler. My bud from
Scotland did them for us before we went a fishing a few
years ago and found them not bad. Please pass the baked
beans.

LOVE them! Fried green tomato parmesan is one of my favorite things to make with them.

But I hope you get a nice mess of ripe red ones before you have to resort to green tomato recipes, Saliha!
