I like the taste, they just give me heartburn or something after I eat one if I have to do anything... like move.

That's how they sit with me too! The one I had last week was probably the first one I've had in 6 months. I really had a taste for it too....

We had fried chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy with stewed tomatoes and green beans and a side salad.

Game? Was there a game on?

Well, I did take a pic right after I built them, so here it is. Five jumbo tacos with cheddar, burger seasoned with Allen's Mexican seasoning, sour cream, sweet onions, lettuce, more cheddar and topped with Ro-Tel tomatoes.

Chow, these look soooo good! I can eat hard tacos several times a week..All we need is some of Barb's enchiladas...Yummy....

:applause: yummy chow!!

i also love hard shell tacos. i love the corn taste of a hard taco and the crunch factor for texture. i put cheese, meat, hot sauce, black olives, scallions, tomato, taco sauce, cheese and lettuce on mine.

sometimes i add refried beans to the meat while cooking or in the shell. also sour cream is a family fav.

i think tacos will be on the menu soon.

Thanks Peeps.
Wow, you really load yours up. I usually don't have a lot of that stuff on hand, and then would need to find a use for it after taco night. Like a small can of sliced black olives. I love black olives, but never make anything that I would put them in.
I used to do tomatoes and taco sauce, but these ro-tel tomatoes seem to kill two birds with one stone and I always have a couple cans in the pantry. And the leftovers last a while in the fridge for me to dump them into tomato sauce or something. I don't find it so hard cooking for one as I do using up something I've opened (lol).

And who doesn't like eating supper with their head turned sideways while trying to watch TV? ;^)
