veal picatta here 4 my dinner, great food!~ dine well, guys, & have a great 1!
 
DD and SIL are coming for dinner tonight. It will be chicken parmesan with spinach and cheese stuffed shells, salad and garlic breadsticks.
 
No clue yet. I have 30 carrot cake cupcakes to make, 4 loaves of bread and possibly a batch of Epi style cinnamon rolls for a fly tying exposition that I'm participating in tomorrow.

I have 2 B/S chicken breasts left from the package I started for the sesame chicken yesterday. So it will probably be some thing with chicken and veggies.
 
4 lunch 4 me, i'm making teryaki tofu/snowpeas/julienne carrot/seasonings
 
I'm doing mussels marinara here today....and left one bag of mussels at home...so I guess we're having mussels, tonight!
 
Something light, mostly fluids.
I think I might be coming down with this lovely respiratory bug that's going around.
Yay!
 
My son has ball practice and my daughter and I have to go to a funeral so it will be something out tonight for us too, again.

Can't wait to get settled so I can get back to cooking! :)

Chicken, mushroom, carrot, onion and broccoli stir fry and tricolored quinoa and orzo pasta pilaf.

Probably cheese enchiladas, refried beans and spanish rice with slices of avacado. DH spent two hours in the dentists chair today. It needs to be soft.
 
I made up some fresh angel hair whole wheat pasta with my sauce and some sweet Italian sausage.

Here's the first batch of Lavash crackers that I made for tomorrow night's event. I have another sheet pan of them in the oven, and DW is making a tomato-herb dip to go with. I put all sorts of salt, seeds, herbs, spices ont eh crackers, and made the dough with 1/3 white, 1/3 rye and 1/3 wheat flour. Very good flavor.

Now I'm off to the show hotel for hospitality night.
 
I rarely make roasts of any kind. Or hams. Or large fowl. We each eat a slice, maybe 4-6 ounces, and it can take a week or two to finish the whole thing - if it doesn't spoil before I get to the end. By that time, I'm sick of it. It's much easier to cook steaks, chops, thighs, pasta, etc. You know, smaller things.

So New Year's Day I made a ham. Then last Sunday, I made a pork roast. It's been 2 weeks since the first of the year, and all I've had to eat is ham & pork roast! I can't take anymore! :bonk:

Tonight I had more pork roast with a sweet/spicy bean salad. I had black beans leftover from the Cuban rice & beans, so I finished cooking them and used them in an old standby. The pic isn't new - but imagine it with twice as much black beans.


I still have a bit of the pork leftover, and now I have a bowl of leftover beans salad! Arghh! When to I get to cook a fresh meal???

Joe that all looks awesome!! Are these recipes posted? I am loving the look of those crackers (I want some now!), cupcakes and pasta (I think I have a link to the pasta but I can't find it)!!

I had a very late lunch and was thinking of skipping dinner, but after looking at all of this, now I'm hungry.
 
Nice dinners everyone! DD and SIL came for dinner tonight. It was chicken parm (DD was helping and put the mozzarella cheese under the sauce but it tastes all the same. I made some spinach and cheese stuffed shells, a salad and bread sticks to go with it.

We watched a movie after dinner and then they had dessert. I made a peanut butter pound cake. I was proud of myself...I had one bite just to taste it and that was all. I sent the rest of it home with them so I wouldn't be tempted.
