Wonder they don’t get sued.
We had a little Family-run Burger joint here back in the seventies.... been in business over fifty years... McDonald's Drive-In .... You know who built a new joint a half-mile away, and immediately sued ,,, big guys won, of course, so the family changed the name to State Road Drive-In... they closed down within a year and a half ...........

Arrival of big guys is largely a good thing here. Long ago, when I was a kid we had only the the private shops where we bought groceries. We had to stay in line until the owner and the boy weigh the stuff etc. And there was no choosing, you had to buy what they give. Usually under weight. And higher prices.
Then arrived super markets. You could choose, correct weight, standard prices, and so much more. Today people lament that the big companies are killing small businesses. But actually it was the small shops' behaviour that invited that fate.
Increasingly now there are decent private shops with reasonable prices and courteous service. Those shops have a good demand, this time thanks to their decency.
