Lot of work!

I have no cooking plans whatsoever.
My sons are traveling again on Thanksgiving Day.
Last year I had covid but my friend Pam asked if I wanted a dinner from their family thing.
She asked if I wanted it again this year.
She's doing the same for Jules too since she's down in the dumps about the holidays since her Mother passed.

Maybe you and Jules can have a Friendsgiving! It will be my Dad and me and friend Kathy, as always in the past several years. None of us eat much, other than the standard fare, so it's a waste to go crazy with food.

Good idea, Lee.
I do know Jeff and I are going to have a meal at The Barn restaurant before he sets off for PA right before Turkey Day.
Jules and I have picked up to work Thanksgiving night, 3rd shift.
I'm happy about it ☺️
Anymore it's just another holiday 👍

I have no clue what is going on. He did put these out to thaw.

So far I know Pam is bringing us turkey, homemade dressing, mashed potatoes, noodles, green beans and bacon and she said she's making pumpkin pies and pecan. So, that's what Jules and I will be eating.

Pam is your neighbor that you share food with?

On Friday, our community is having a Friendsgiving semi-potluck. I think 54 people signed up. I'm making pumpkin praline cheesecake. Today I was talking with the coordinator, and she said not a single person is bringing any kind of cranberry sauce or relish. So I said I'd make the one I've been using for years. It came from Mr Green Jeans here on NCT 14 years ago. It really was a keeper. https://netcookingtalk.com/forums/threads/baked-cranberries.12369/
