What's On The Plates Sunday October 6 - Saturday 12

I grilled burgers and dogs. The beans are TJ’s Spanish beans in tomato sauce. There was also a buratta caprese salade as well.

In the last hour or so, I've started to feel really blah, like flu or something coming on, blah.
I'm going to just have hot tea and toast for dinner.
Had an orange for lunch.
Go for the chicken soup. I started to get a little stuffy last night...... ?? DIL was here last Sunday, and she was sounding congested. She made me think negative in the back of my head, Oh Boy! I hope its not been transmitted to me or Tina.....

Tina made beef soup for lunch. I opted out; because it was a little too salty. I had an onion bagel toasted and lathered with cream cheese.
Tonight was the pork steaks with potatoes and onions. Oatmeal raisin cookies for dessert.
 
I do feel better today.
Yesterday-- I haven't felt that crappy in a long time.
Possibly been doing too much lately and worrying about everything under the sun.🤯

That said, dinner may be a homemade pan fried burger with provolone.
Not sure what else.
 
It will be a whatever you find for supper today. So far, I had a cup of those ramen noodles for lunch.
I do have a large bell pepper... Hummmm... maybe a frittata with it?? It could change.
Ooops! Tina just took out a raw dough, frozen; to make a pepperoni and mozzarella cheese bread for later this evening.
 
This is it.
I grilled the bread, put a piece of sharp white cheddar on the bottom slice to melt while frying the burger.
Melted a slice of provolone on the burger in the pan.
Added some lettuce, mayo and bread and butter pickles.
Steamed green beans with garlic and herb butter.
It's not fancy or pretty.
Almost air fried some fries too, but nah.

Tina put me on Probation.... :poke:. I overdid the Carbs Today, and the Decsron G7 sensor alerted her Caution. Beep Beep!!!! And the reading was 273. We figured it to be Iced Tea ( Snapple ).
Cake, and some Halloween Candy that I sneak now and then. More Now, than Then!
Supper for me was a can of Mackerel in olive oil, and NO CARBS! By order of the Carbs COP.

Lee, now see I really liked that Power Blend when I had it.
Haven't noticed it in the stores lately though.
Different strokes...🙂

I loved the concept, but thought it was really bland. Maybe if I sprinkled some of my millions of seasoning blends on it ...

We went to Sam’s Club. Boy I sure miss fresh fish! Can’t get that down here 😔. I did find some fresh Chilean Sea Bass and Cod! Yippee!
Tonight will be pan fried Sea Bass in garlic butter and olive oil and a spinach soufflé (courtesy of Monsieur Stouffer) 😉
