Dinner Thread Sunday August 13 - Saturday 19

Tina had a little over a pound of ground beef left over that needed to be cooked; so I just finished
making a bolognaise sauce, and cooked elbow macaroni to add that into the sauce tomorrow.
I was surprised we had no Mueller's brand elbow macaroni. Tina said she can't find them in the markets anymore. At least by us she can't find them.
Oh, I also made jello for us. Just have to make whipped cream to eat with the jello.
I cannot eat jello without whipped cream.

Well, the O'Fowley's visit was a bit
hit & Miss...
The Cup of Shrimp & Corn Chowder was excellent !
The Pot Stickers were great, and thai Sweet(?) Chili
Dipping sauce was the best I've ever had "out" ..
The Salmon with Shrimp Scampi Sauce had problems :
The Seafood was Hammered, The Roasted Veggie Blend lacked seasoning,
and the Entree came to the table cold...
... probably won't be back ...

Went to lunch with a friend today and got a really excellent pizza.

Breaded thin-cut chicken breast, lemon orzo, steamed baby spinach. A squirt of lemon for the chicken.

Buzz and I are fixing our own dinners tonight. He wants chicken teriyaki, which I can't have, so he's making that and I'm going to heat up some frozen fish with leftover zucchini fritters from last night.
