Hello old friends and New

Howdy Yall!

I am excited to catch up with my old friends and happy to meet new folks who have joined in my absence. I have not posted for awhile... not really been cooking anything exciting and life has been well.. life

Briefly for those I don't know I am JT I live in Philly and have 2 really bad dogs and a good cat. I love cast iron and cooking homestyle food especially Tex-Mex and Italian. I also LOVE my grill.

To my old friends yes my kitchen got done (sort of) My brother is still stressing me out but he moved out a few months ago so I have the place to myself again. Still working which these days in my biz is a good thing.

Spring is coming and grilling season is coming around so I am excited about getting back in the swing of the garden and the grill.

Anyway.. howdy yall and hope to be not such a stranger. Working on some fine pork chops and kraut braised in beer and marinated in molasses and cider vinegar righty now. Hope they turn out as well as they smell.

Happy B day man sorry I missed it. Betting on a good year for the Phils this year! Need to get me the Cable.... my bud down the block has a flat screen and a kegarator so mybe that's an excuse not to.

That's a pretty sketchy account of the last few months, though. Details, details. And pictures, too. I've been wondering how your kitchen is coming along. Glad to hear your brother is OK and has moved out. LOL

Glad to feel missed FM frankly NOTHING has really happened latelyp we had a wretched winter and If I could have picked up and left I would have. Dont have a recent kitchen pic but here is a progress pic

aside from a butcher block counter over the DW and some dirty dishes that is pretty much what it looks like minus the old light fixture. I think this is what it looked like last we spoke

. It is nice to be able to see the backyard now! Still have some details to tie up like in the rest of the house but until I get a personal economic stimulus that sh*t's on hold

Q... do you not live in Boston AKA Fratboy town... it's a fridge that is home to a keg with a tap through the side wall. Brilliant but space consuming.

The kitchen looks amazing, Pancho! The sink unit is spectacular. I love, love, love the door. I want one like that for my kitchen door, too. It makes your kitchen so bright. Is that a stained concrete floor?
