Getting Lucky on an airplane is like getting a cat to take a bath.
I've been trying to get Lucky to come west forever.
BIGBOY-BIG MAC-JACK IN THE BOX and IN & OUT.
The closest Big Boy from here in the San Francisco Bay Area
Is 400 miles away (LA Area) as Lucky said-
I'm an In & Out'er. Their hamburgers are divine.
Big Boy is a big preference over the Big Mac.
I'm sorry you all do not have Jack in the box.
2 tacos for a buck- Their sour dough burgers are fantastic.

Dinner tonight will be ... Beef Pot roast or beef stew or beef barley soup. LOL I have a chuck roast, after I cook it in the IP till falling apart tender THEN I will decide where to go from there. LOL Not sure what the end product will be ... BUT it WILL be awesome thanks to my IP!!

Well plans changed ... pizza for dinner.
I must say the burger was fantastic.
I made it a platter and got onion rings and a side salad.
DIL got the same with hot fudge cake for dessert.
No way could I have had dessert lol
They've changed and expanded their menu too.
Next time I'm getting the Seafood Market dinner.
AND I'll get pictures next time.

Asian tonight.
Seafood salad, shrimp and squid this time, over a bed of grated carrots and sliced cucumbers, with a kimchi base/honey dressing.
Vege tempura, sweet potato, zucchini and mushrooms, with a sauce made from soft peak whipped cream and wasabi.
Beef tataki, heavily black peppered, seared tenderloin marinated in soy sauce, mirin, garlic, green onions, with a homemade ponzu sauce.

No clue at the moment about tonight's dinner, but we're going to Toledo in a little while and shop at Costco.

Celebrating Cinco de mayo today.
DIL made tortas when we got home from Toledo.
The bread is rubbed with olive oil and garlic clove.
Filling is thin steak seasoned with cumin and onion powder.
Add mayo on bread, steak, avocado, tomato, lettuce and jalapenos.
Assembled sandwiches are put in the oven so bread gets toasty.
She has a Hispanic friend who makes these as well, but I like Aimee's better.
That bread tho!
