I've been in a meeting all day at work and was starving when we wrapped up.
So, I stopped at the A&W and got a footlong with the works, and fries:brows:

Now excuse me, I have some damage to do to this plate lol

My roast is not completely thawed, so now I'm thinking dogs are on for tonight. I bought some Nathan's the other day, not foot-long but I can always have two .

Whew... five minute break.
The kitchen is hot and I needed to get out. I already cooled the house down once today.

Wow, that is a wicked looking dog!! Awesome!

I may be going to A&W this week myself!!

Ok! Our supper was a salad, consisting of Lettuce, diced tomato, onion, cucumber, bell peppers (red, orange, green and yellow) and diced ham and turkey and topped with ranch/bacon dressing. And we also had some macaroni and cheese.

Oooh, your salad looks so pretty, Lifesaver! I never think to add the bell peppers, but it always makes a salad look really appealing.

I probably should have let the mac and cheese set up like lasagna, but I was hungry. Along with a chicken fried pork loin and gravy.... I have two more for later , super moist. And an oven roasted ear of corn.

Fred.. delicious! you and the corn again, eh? lol

Barb, that salad is gorgeous!

I haven't seen a foot long hot dog in years. Our A & W and Dog n Suds closed years ago. I used to like stopping at those joints when I was in that neck of the woods. I loved their root beer, too.

Fred, I remember that place from when I was very small.
There was one in Terre Haute, Indiana-very near to my grandma Phillips' house.
She'd take us there for lunch on Saturdays. Good memories:wub:

One thing about A&W's root beer, the taste hasn't changed a bit, after all these years.

i took off my foil hat and i think i'm starting to receive you guys again. i had the worst cravings for hot dogs last night.

but, we ended up with sushi last night, our usual order. salads, veggie gyoza, godzilla roll, spider roll, salmon skin hand roll, and a sushi special deluxe platter.

Wow Chow! :applause: I'm curious about the mac and cheese too. It looks like it has spinach  in it.
