What's cooking? Sun. 08/04 to Sat. 08/10 of 2013

I threw a cheese lasagna on the grill to bake.

The ricotta was sour that we had in the fridge. I then used cottage cheese, and mozzarella. I used regular curly edged lasagna noodles, but un boiled. :thumb:

I made something new today, meatball hotpot.

Par baked a dozen or so meatballs. Fried up sliced onions, garlic and carrot then mixed in flour followed by half a bottle of red wine to make the gravy.
Put the meat balls & gravy into a casserole dish and covered with thinly sliced potatoes. Baked at 150C for an hour, uncovered and crisped up the potatoes at 200c for about 20 minutes. Went down well with the whole family.

At the request of the birthday girl, Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken breast, broccoli and fresh baguettes. Birthday cake for dessert.
