This was my first try at Kaiser Rolls. I think I got the “knot” right. They smell fantastic and I can’t wait to try them. I will stop at the store after picking my DD up from work. That’s when I will decide if it will be cheeseburgers or cold cuts with French fries for dinner.

Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy I stay away for a couple of days and you end up in the butcher palace. I hope whatever it was has been taken care of, and I'm sure you're going to be a baby about it as long as Tina is willing to put up with you.
We ate at the church fish fry after DW worked on the serving line and me in the kitchen working on the stove tonight making the veggies and pierogis for 4 hours. We got home about 8 pm and I made 7# of sweet Italian sausage. It's in the fridge for tonight for the flavors to meld, and I'll decide what to do with it in the morning. Probably just put 1# in freezer bags since we're not planning on grilling sausages for awhile. When the kiddos see the sausage pictures on facebook tomorrow, I'm sure we'll have company for din-din on Sunday.

Thanks Cooksie...I'm going to try something new tonight. I'm going to make a thick French onion soup base, put some of that in the bottom of ramekins, top with cooked chicken breast, add gruyere cheese, and brown. Sounds good to me...we'll see.
