That's mustard greens Peepers.

I'll take one of those cinnamon rolls Peers...did you make those?

How can you not like mustard greens Rick. Cooked right, they are amazing....sprinkle them with some hot pepper vinegar....YUM.... Gotta have some cornbread to sop up the pot likker too!

Jimmy, that looks good. You and Tina make quite a team.

NO! Living here in the south, I have tried most all these southern 'things' and do not care for most of them.
I'm nothing more then a misplaced Californian, sorry...
I'm glad you didn't take offense at my joking around.
:-)

Sounds good luvs...

Chili with venison is great.. Slow cooked in the cooker like you said.
Daughter loves and eats a lot of venison.
Tina just fed 12 deer (her buddies) in the yard. I'll grab one, and send it to ya on the bus. hahahaha....I could just see that. "Rudolph the Pittsburgh Reindeer" hahahaha

:) methinx the deer was a gonner before he hit the city line.

I don't offend easily. If I'm gonna go to all the trouble of getting riled up, it's gonna be over something worth getting riled up over

Heck...if we had enough snow...
Those deer are so fat..I couldst tie im to a sled; whip his @$$, and drive im to the Burgh!... Here comes the "Allegheny Express"...We made a stop in Allentown, and packed with beer, so have no fear..we're on Rt22 the Billy Penn Way, so we'll be right there. We'll stop at ole Harrisburg, and pick up Corbett, and I'm willing to bet, he could pay our way!....

I've got all of those veggies leftover from last night so I'm roasting 1/2 of a turkey breast on top of some dressing and I'll make some mashed potatoes, deviled eggs and cranberry sauce and we'll just have us some mini Thanksgiving dinners the next few nights :w00t2:

mama, i'm so hungry fer greens now. those were freqently made fer us as kiddos. my Dad made 'em rather often. i have to get a hamhock & mustard greens this week.

Mustard greens are our favorite. I cook mine in chicken stock with a ham hock, salt, pepper, garlic and a little hot sauce. :readytoeat:

I don't think we will have any trouble sleeping tonight

OH MAMA!! That looks so good.

I made Homemade pizza topped with fresh - sliced mushrooms, sliced onion and sliced garlic (no pictures because family couldn’t wait) and Salad (red and green butter lettuce, iceberg lettuce, sliced mushrooms, vine tomato, avocado, cucumber, sunflower seeds, toasted flax seeds, toasted sesame seeds and pico de gallo) dressed with homemade vinaigrette and a splash of lime juice

Thank you Peepers! That salad looks wonderful and I'll bet the pizza was too! It's hard to get them to wait for a picture when they're drooling

Thank you Mama. It had a nice and crispy crust.

No cooking today!
Although...Tina is making mac and cheese.
I had a afternoon of replacing the alternator on the car; so I was too involved with that instead of cooking supper stuff.

The GD is staying over, and so she wanted KFC and Tina wanted Philly Pretzel Factory food.

I saved lots of gas with the car broken, and now, Tina and the GD are all out running here and there again to get milk and cakes and treats.
Geeeeeeeze!

Ta Ta Ta Ta Ta Ta Ta Ta .......

the guy's w/ a migraine, so i'm keeping dinner simplistic. went to the 'iggle earlier so i hafta pick a food soon. we were gonna make a slew of fried foods.
lookin' as though this may be a grilled cheese & soup night. bought 3 bars of cheese.

This was my first try at Kaiser Rolls. I think I got the “knot” right. They smell fantastic and I can’t wait to try them. I will stop at the store after picking my DD up from work. That’s when I will decide if it will be cheeseburgers or cold cuts with French fries for dinner.

I don't think it will matter what you put on those rolls Peepers, it's bound to be amazing!

Tomato soup and grilled cheese here. Didn't take any pics.
